Well I’m at the moment about as productive as stale ham and cheese sandwich at the moment… I seem to be in a rut. I have a website that seems to be trickling traffic even though I rank highly for the keyword. So lesson number 1 learnt is that do no rely on purely organic traffic alone. So today I’m back linking some to hell using article directories and I have finally worked out all the kinks in my E-Zine articles post (waiting another 7 days)

Hey Peter,
Are you referring to your niche based site for the challenge?
If so, how did you build backlinks to it, just with Article Marketing?
I’m interested since my main site is actually losing some rank (may be the dreaded Google Penguin) but I think I won’t go crazy about it.
I’m honestly a bit tired of playing cat and mouse with Google.
Anyway, again good job on Pulp Recipes, seems like you did put yourself to hard work after all since it is in good ranking right now, speak soon!

Hey Sergio!
Yeah I am referring to the challenge now but I wasn’t really before I haven’t updated my bucket list in so long!
As for backlinking I have a whole directory of dofollow comment blogs + all the usualy web 2.0 backlinking(squidoo lens, hubpages, ezine, wordpress.com, blogspot.. etc)
But I have been playing with postlinks.com you get 1000 credits free for signing up and you can post your articles on blogs that are PR0-5(I usually choose to spread it round PR3-5). But at the end of the day it is an article directory but I have yet to see a negative effect from it. I am using it at the moment to rank another site quickly just using free accounts.
Plus I get unique articles written in the Philippines for $3 per 500 words and batch them out at 10 articles a time and edit them and queue them up over 2-3 weeks.
Don’t be too impressed by pulprecipes.net the exact match keyword only gets 91 search volume a month haha.
